Cabbage-Red Onion Slaw With Parsley-Yogurt Dressing
serves 2-4
Recipe from cookthink
Here's a slight departure from mayonnaise-based dressings for slaw. The yogurt adds tang, and its creamy texture takes the edge off raw red onion. The parsley complements the yogurt with bright herbal flavor.
ingredients
1 medium head savoy cabbage (about 1 pound), thinly sliced
1/2 large red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
4 tablespoons plain yogurt
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
