Basic Brandy Cobbler

Feel free to substitute spirits, liqueurs and garnishes of your choosing. This is one drink where you literally call the shots.

ingredients
2 teaspoons simple syrup
2 ounces brandy
1 ounce curaçao, kirschwasser or other desired liqueur
Seasonal fruit to garnish
Cracked ice

goblet or highball glass
cocktail shaker (optional)
instructions
1. Fill a large goblet or highball glass with cracked ice and add the simple syrup.
2. Pour in brandy and desired liqueur.
3. Garnish with an orange slice and lemon wedge or other pieces of your favorite fruit.
Note: Alternatively, shake ingredients first and then pour into an ice-filled glass garnished with fruit.
