Soy-Maple Vinaigrette

serves 2-4

Sweet and salty - this dressing presents a perfect balance of flavors.  Try it on a basic green salad, or as a marinade for your favorite meat or fish.

ingredients

1/8 cup balsamic vinegar
1/8 cup soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon minced ginger
1/4 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon maple syrup

instructions

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the vinegar, soy sauce, garlic and ginger. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes.

2. Whisking constantly, drizzle in the oil until the mixture emulsifies. Continue whisking as you drizzle in the maple syrup.
