Roasted Asparagus

Roasting asparagus makes it crispy and tender all at once. If you are roasting a cut of meat, just put the asparagus in 15 minutes before it's done.
1 bunch asparagus
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper
prep: 5 minutes
total: 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 400F. Trim off and discard the tough ends of the asparagus. Toss the asparagus in a bowl with the olive oil and a sprinkling of salt and pepper. Put them on a baking sheet and cook them until they're tender, about 15 minutes.
