1 pound mustard greens, stemmed and thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
prep: 10 minutes
total: 25 minutes
large sauté pan
tongs
1. Heat the olive oil in a large sauté pan. When it's hot and shimmering, stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the mustard greens and toss to coat with the oil and garlic. Cook, stirring often, until the greens begin to wilt, 2-4 minutes. Add the water and simmer until the water is almost gone, another 2-4 minutes. Stir in the red pepper flakes and vinegar, and toss to coat the greens.
