Negroni

Equal parts Campari, gin and vermouth, the Negroni has a bitter, tongue-tingling taste.

1 ounce gin
1 ounce sweet vermouth
1 ounce Campari
1 slice orange
prep: 5 minutes
total: 5 minutes

cocktail glass
Pour all ingredients into a chilled old-fashioned glass over ice, or shake and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of orange. (For a dry Negroni, substitute dry vermouth.)
