Traditional Hot Grog

makes one drink

Grog can be drunk hot or cold, but a traditional mug of warm Grog is just as welcome during half-time at a football game as it is after a day of skiing.


2 ounces dark rum
1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon brown sugar
4 ounces hot water
1 cinnamon stick
1 slice orange


prep: 5 minutes
total: 5 minutes

cocktail glass


Mix all the ingredients in a mug and garnish with a cinnamon stick and a slice of orange.
