Dark Chocolate Fudge Icing
enough for a 2-layer cake or 24 cupcakes
The best, most chocolate-y icing ever. I wish I could eat a bowl of it every day. Excellent with the Dark Chocolate Fudge Layer Cake of Love.

6 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1 cup butter, at room temperature
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
prep: 15 minutes
total: 15 minutes
large bowl
electric or stand mixer (optional)
In a large bowl, beat butter until creamy. Add confectioners’ sugar and continue to beat until fluffy, about 2 minutes. Add vanilla, beat 30 seconds. Add cooled chocolate and beat 1-2 minutes. Icing should look glossy and smooth.
