Spring at last

“The seeping showers” have drenched the last of the crab apple blossoms, which I suppose means that we can soon expect the first of the Spring fruit. Here come the wonderful bright red sour Montmorency cherries—friends to duck—and the true wild berries (and shortly the domesticated ones). It seems a good time for a few relevant recipes.
