Root Source Challenge #9: Eggs

It’s an ingredient that shows up everywhere. Show us how you show it off by submitting your best egg recipe for the Root Source Challenge.

Our favorite recipe will be featured in the Root Source and published on Cookthink.com. As a bonus, the author will also receive a copy of Sweety Pies: An Uncommon Collection of Womanish Observations, with Pie, by Patty Pinner.

Submissions are due by 12pm EST Tuesday, April 15. Send an email with your name, email, blog URL and permalink to the recipe to rootsourcechallenge [AT] cookthink [DOT] com - and please put the topic in the subject line of your email.     See, I love eggs and use them all the time, but I don’t like I have the skill to participate in this one. Eggs can be used it such creative ways like souffles which I’ve never even attempted. Maybe I will though, maybe I will…

    Eggs are a versatile wonder! They are a quintessential comfort food, and I just enjoy cooking them….almost as much as I enjoy eating them.

    My favorite Egg comfort food.

    Halve and English Muffin,

    Toast Muffin

    and generously apply butter to each side

    in this place one fried egg, over medium.

    the yolk and the butter give you a nice warm hollondaise taste as you enjoy this.
