The sizzling sound in my wok when ingredients are added to a very hot wok.

The smell of spices.

Fresh ingredients.

My fridge.

What are afraid to do in the kitchen?
Frying.

Animal organs.

Not yet.

Yes. Eggplant.

My late mother who passed away in May.

Ferran AdriĆ and all his wannabes. Food is an art, not science.

James Oseland but I wish his cookbook had more photographs.

Going to any wet markets in Malaysia.

Back to Malaysia, where I came from.

Oysters.

Lycheetini.

T-shirt with homey pants.

Malaysian food.

Raspberry. It’s red and oh-so-pretty and adorable.
What are you craving right now?
A bowl of breakfast noodles from Malaysian street food.
