One of my favorite ways to procrastinate is to go to TasteSpotting and see if I can correctly guess which food blog each photo has come from. Even as this has gotten much harder as more and more people have discovered TS and submitted images, I still always instantly recognize the stunning photos Béa takes for La Tartine Gourmande. I would try to describe them, but I don’t know how (except to use the descriptionless “stunning”). Just look at them and come up with your own adjectives.
I just noticed that Béa has a few things for sale at her Zazzle store — a few greeting cards and a 2008 calendar. One of the cards has my favorite Béa photograph on it: four headless sardines tails-up in a glass. It’s at once welcoming and menacing, and would be a perfect thing to send to someone you’re wooing or to someone who owes you money.
