Our friend Tammy doesn’t cook much, but she’s decided to host her first real Thanksgiving tomorrow. She’s going to brine the turkey, roast the sprouts and cobble together a homemade dressing herself.
One thing I know about Tammy (who helped design Cookthink) is that she loves corn pudding. Corn pudding was her litmus test for Cookthink. If we had a bad corn pudding recipe, then maybe we weren’t worth dealing with. But if we had a good corn pudding recipe, then maybe we could do some work together.
Tammy and I have already had a turkey pep talk, but in the interest of getting right Tammy’s favorite thing on the table, here are some corn pudding (and corn pudding-esque) options for her (and you) tomorrow:
Recipe: Basic Corn Pudding (Cookthink)
Recipe: Beaumont Inn Corn Pudding (Beaumont Inn)
Recipe: Corn Pudding With Pesto (hogwash)
Recipe: Georgeann Brennan’s Double Corn Spoon Bread With Green Chiles (SF Gate)
Recipe: Cucumber Noodles With Sweet Corn And A Creamy Brazil Nut Sauce (VeganYumYum)
Recipe: Creamed Corn With Monterey Jack And Green Onions (Cookthink)

I think an recipe that should be posted is the Barefoot Contessa Ina Garten’s Sagaponack Corn Pudding (check out foodnetwork.com for recipe).
Definitely not the healthiest but probably one of the most (surprisingly)light tasting, savory and delicious ones out there!
Thanks Marie. Here’s the Barefoot Contessa recipe for Sagaponack Corn Pudding.
