Betty Rosbottom

Betty Rosbottom writes a weekly syndicated column called "That's Entertaining" for the Tribune Media Services, which appears in newspapers throughout the United States. She's also a frequent contributor to Bon Appétit magazine.

She is the author of numerous cookbooks, including American Favorites, First Impressions, Weekends With Friends, The Big Book of Backyard Cooking, Waffles and Coffee. Her latest book, Sunday Soup, was published in the fall of 2008 by Chronicle Books.

In 1976, Betty founded the nationally recognized La Belle Pomme Cooking School in Columbus, Ohio, and served as its director until 1995 when she moved to New England. Betty is the Cooking School Coordinator for the Lamson and Goodnow Cooking School located in Northampton, Massachusetts. She also teaches there. She leads culinary tours of France from time to time.

She has served on the board of directors of the International Association of Culinary Professionals and is a Certified Culinary Professional.
